An AFSB website gives your business a professional web presence. Each site includes a free domain name, matching e-mail accounts, and professionally designed graphics that are tailored to tax and accounting firms.
Domain Name. Choose a website address ending in .com, .net, .biz, etc. that reflects your firm name. Our technical support team does the rest. If your name isn't available, we'll help you find one. If you already have a domain name, you can transfer it to AFSB for free!
E-mail Accounts. Create up to 20 e-mail accounts that match your new domain name. Check your e-mail from your own e-mail software or your web browser. Spam filtering is included. Or choose our e-mail pointer service to forward your email to a different address.
We offer the following types of accounts:

- POP (Post Office Protocol).
Use POP accounts to send and receive your email through an email client like Outlook or Mail. POP accounts also have a webmail interface that allows you to send and receive your email from any computer connected to the internet.
- IMAP (Internet Message Access Protocol).
IMAP accounts are perfect for those who like to check their email from multiple devices (office computer, smart phone, home computer). Keep all your messages in synch and easily accessible. IMAP accounts also have a webmail interface that allows you to send and receive your email from any computer connected to the internet.

Templates. Choose from AFSB's growing collection of more than 50 website styles. Change your template as often as you wish. Some of our members select one of our "1040" themes just for tax season. Personalize any template by adding your own pictures or graphics. We also offer custom-built templates to match your exacting standards. Our skilled designers will work with you to create a site that displays your company's unique style. Custom template design is an additional fee to be assessed at the time of request. Customize your Website
You're in control of the content on your site. The AFSB Member Area makes it easy to promote your services, share information, and personalize your site's appearance.
Customizable Text. Edit the content of your website as often as you like. Simply log in to the Member Area, select a page and type. Use HTML if you prefer.
Customizable Pages. Select any or all of the following pages for your site: Home, Services, Financial Calculators, Newsletters, Links, About Us, Contact Us, Service Plus, and Make a Payment. Display your pages in any order. You may also add editable Terms of Service to comply with your licensing requirements. If you'd like more options, use our Additional Pages tab to create even more unique pages.
Customizable Images. Add pictures to your website. Choose from over 200 images in our ever-expanding central library of images and logos or build your own library of images exclusive to your website.
Customizable Keywords (Meta tags). Choose keywords and write a short description of each web page to tell search engines about your site's contents. No programming skills are required.
Secure Members Area. Log in to our Members Area knowing that your password is encrypted and our website is secure. Technical details here
Save Time with Office Management Tools
Your AFSB website includes tools to save you time and money and to help you build client relationships. Reduce mailings by sending newsletters, exchanging documents and even receiving payments through your website.
Client Signup. You have a variety of signup methods for your clients. There is a self-service signup form clients call fill out on your website. You control who has access to your site's Client Area. Already have a list of clients? Import your database of clients quickly with our Client Upload feature. All you need is a comma separated value (CSV) file and all your client data is up and running.
Client Management Service. Organize your client list. Create groups of clients such as "Planning for College" or "QuickBooks Clients." E-mail announcements and newsletters to clients individually or in groups.
Secure File Transfer. Send and receive sensitive client information through AFSB's secure interface. This is a popular feature for tax preparers who distribute .pdf files of tax returns. After you assign usernames and passwords to your clients they will be able to log in to your website and securely download (or upload) files. Credit Card Payment Gateway. Securely take client credit card payments through your existing Paypal account.
Events Calendar. Remind your clients about upcoming events. This pre-populated key tax date and holiday calendar is available on all AFSB sites. Add your own dates and holidays specific to your firm.
Google Maps Service. Show clients how to find you with this interactive map on your Contact page.
Tax Organizer. Gather your clients' annual tax information with AFSB's secure, built-in tax organizer.
Form Builder. Create customized forms such as surveys or tax organizers.
Services Page. Use this tool to advertise your services to your clients. Do more than just taxes? Give your clients a useful list of all the services your firm offers.
Share Information with your Clients
Your clients will find up-to-date tax newsletters and helpful financial calculators. Use your website to become your clients' first source of financial information. Every visit to your website is an opportunity for you to earn additional business.
Financial Calculators. Help your clients to plan ahead with more than 50 financial calculators including mortgage, car payment, Roth IRA and 401(K) savings calculators. You'll select exactly which calculators you want on your site. Encourage your clients to schedule an appointment with you to discuss their reports.
Newsletters. Share financial newsletters on your website and/or e-mail them to your clients. Use AFSB's regularly updated tax newsletters or write your own.
Links. Give your clients even more information on your Links page. Include links to the IRS and Social Security as well as state and local resources.
Additional Pages. Highlight your areas of expertise by writing your own additional pages. Add a page about Small Business Taxes, Estate Planning, Mortgages or any area of interest to you and your clients.
